GCC vs India compensation for senior leaders.
The honest gap between Dubai, Riyadh and Mumbai compensation — base, bonus, taxation and the lifestyle premium.

On gross numbers, GCC senior compensation runs 1.6x–2.4x Indian compensation for equivalent roles. On net-in-pocket, after schooling, housing and lifestyle, the multiple narrows to 1.2x–1.7x.
What the GCC really offers is tax efficiency and capital accumulation in the first decade. What India offers is depth of role, scale of P&L, and equity in companies that may compound for two decades.
The right answer is rarely the same one twice. We brief candidates on net-in-pocket modelling before the comp conversation, not after.
