Independent director search — a 101 for Indian boards.
What good board search looks like, what regulators now expect, and why diversity is the easiest part of the brief.

Independent director search in India has been transformed by SEBI's listing obligations, the IBC, and a steady tightening of audit-committee expectations.
Most boards we work with now run a competency matrix, a tenure plan, and a diversity target as a baseline. The harder question is committee fit — particularly audit and risk — and how the new director will challenge the executive team without breaking the room.
Diversity is the easiest part of a modern board brief. Curated, committee-ready Indian women directors with regulator exposure are now a deep, named pool.
